Disclaimer:  I am NOT a licensed Veterinarian until May of 2021.

My name is Hope, which may be obvious from the URL.  I am currently a 3rd year Veterinary student at Washington State University, part of the graduating class of 2021.

I am planning on a mixed practice of large and small animals, with an emphasis on being accessible to ranchers as a mobile Veterinarian.

Originally from the Seattle area, I obtained my BS in Animal Science from Montana State University in Bozeman, so I am equally comfortable in busy cities and wide open spaces.  I grew up with cats, currently have a German Shepherd named Sadie, but also love cows, a byproduct of having interned with a dear friend and rancher in Eastern Oregon.

In my 4th year I am going to be working, in addition to my hospital rotations, with lambing at the University of Idaho, a boutique Veterinary Clinic in Colorado Springs, a month with my local Moscow Veterinary hospital, and the Humane Society Shelter in Seattle.  My senior thesis is on small animal chronic diarrhea, diagnostics, treatment and prognosis.

As my DVM date approaches, I'll be posting more information about my schooling and skill set, as well as a contact page, if you are interested in adding a Veterinarian to your staff.
